Robot palletizing — where it fits
End-of-line palletizing is the single most common first robot project — repetitive, heavy, and easy to measure. We build both collaborative palletizers for mixed, low-volume lines and fully guarded high-speed cells for continuous production.

Collaborative palletizers
Cobot arms of 16–30 kg payload on a 1 600–2 400 mm lifting column. No fence, small footprint, ideal for 6–12 cycles per minute.
Industrial palletizing cells
Four- and six-axis robots from 60 to 300 kg payload with guarding, light curtains and dual pallet stations for continuous run.
Grippers & tooling
Vacuum plates, sack forks, layer grippers, tray tools and quick-change couplings, built in-house.
Pallet handling
Pallet magazines, roller and chain conveyors, slip-sheet and interlayer dispensers, plus stretch-wrap integration.

We take your case dimensions, pallet spec and line rate and simulate the stacking pattern and reach envelope before anything is quoted.
Gripper design
Vacuum, fork, clamp or a combined tool — designed and manufactured in our own workshop for your product.

Robot, lifting column, pallet magazine, slip-sheet dispenser, conveyors, safety scanning and HMI, assembled and tested in Stockholm.
Commissioning
Installed over a weekend or planned stop, with operator training so your team can add new pallet patterns themselves.

A collaborative palletizer handles roughly 6–12 cases per minute depending on payload, pick height and whether it picks single or double. A guarded industrial cell with a layer gripper reaches 20 cycles per minute or more.
What does a palletizing robot cost?
A complete collaborative palletizing cell typically lands in the range of a mid-size CNC machine, while a high-speed guarded cell with pallet conveyors costs several times that. The deciding factors are gripper complexity, pallet handling and safety scope — we quote a fixed price after the pattern study.
Do we need a safety fence?
Not for a collaborative palletizer. Speed and force are limited and the cell is protected with area scanning, so operators can change pallets alongside the robot. A high-speed industrial cell always needs guarding.
Can one robot handle several products?
Yes. Pallet patterns are stored as recipes and selected from the HMI or pulled from your ERP, so a changeover is a menu selection rather than a rebuild.
How long does installation take?
We build and test the cell in our workshop first, so on-site installation and commissioning is normally two to four days. Total lead time from order is around eight weeks.
